Senior HP Indigo Operator Contract

• Full-Time – Immediate Start
• Brand-new production facility – new print and finishing equipment

Our client is seeking an experienced Print Production Specialist to support the delivery of high-quality printed materials. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong print knowledge and proven experience operating HP Indigo digital presses, accustomed to working collaboratively in a production team environment.

Working as part of a specialised print workshop, you will support the end-to-end delivery of bespoke and large-volume printed materials. The role involves close collaboration with designers, suppliers, and internal technical staff to ensure all products meet strict quality, compliance, fixed deadlines, and delivery requirements. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across print production processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with file preparation, prepress checks and impositions
• Operate and maintain digital printing presses, including HP Indigo, plus finishing and bindery equipment
• Ensure print quality through regular checks and adherence to quality control processes
• Coordinate with designers and external suppliers to deliver jobs as specified
• Support workflow improvements, stock management, and day-to-day production needs

Key Selection Criteria

• Must have at least Level I HP Indigo Digital Certification
• Hands-on experience with best practice print production and finishing
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality output
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet fixed deadlines
• A team-focused communicator with a practical, solutions-driven approach

The role is an initial 18-Month Contract with an extension based on annual budget review and business needs.

For the right person, the remuneration guide is from $40 to $45 per hour.
