Manufacturing Manager Full Time

A high-volume label manufacturing site in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Manager to oversee day to day operations across printing, finishing, warehousing, and estimating & scheduling.

You will manage a team of nine, drive productivity improvements, strengthen maintenance practices, and play a key role in shaping operational performance. This role suits a practical leader who is comfortable on the floor, respected by long standing staff, and confident influencing workflow, quality, and continuous improvement.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing and warehouse operations to deliver quality work on time and within budget
• Drive a strong safety culture by maintaining safe work practices, compliant systems and well-maintained equipment
• Manage, mentor and develop staff, including training, performance management and building a positive team culture
• Review processes and implement improvements to lift efficiency, minimise waste and support DIFOT goals
• Oversee production planning and reporting to ensure accurate data, smooth workflows and continuous improvement
