Laser Cutter / Machine Operator Casual Full Time

We’re seeking a hands-on operator to join a busy production team. This role begins as full-time casual for six months, with the intention to go permanent. You’ll start on the Zund laser cutter and receive training across other equipment, with a longer-term pathway into leadership.

Responsibilities
• Operate the Zund laser cutter in day-to-day production
• Select and run existing programs on the machine
• Assist with other finishing and production equipment as trained
• Maintain clean, safe, and efficient workflow standards
• Support broader team tasks during busy periods

Key Criteria
• Previous machine operating experience ideal, but not essential
• Comfortable using computers and navigating basic software
• Willing to learn multiple pieces of equipment
• Reliable, steady worker with good attention to detail
• Interest in future leadership opportunities

Negotiable for the right person, the remuneration guide is from $30 per hour.
